Abstract Paint Splatters of Familiar Star Wars Characters

How could you not just love these Star Wars designs by French Graphic designer Arian Noveir!? The crazy digital splatters across the page form the many Star Wars characters that we know and love, including Yoda, C3P0, and Chewbacca. It’s incredible how, with just the right color palette and a basic structure, Noveir is so effective in visually portraying each familiar character. The collection is a clever and abstract way to reinterpret the well-known characters. As a child of the 80’s, I would definitely love to have one of these hanging on my wall! Colorful Illustrations Created from the Text of Classic Books

Like NovelPoster , Litographs are illustrations created from the text of classic books. However, with Litographs, founder Danny Fein works with designers to create these beautiful illustrations, which are offered in black and white as well as in color. Each purchase also donates a book to a community in need through the International Book Bank. Record-Breaking 18,239-Pound Chocolate Sculpture

Gourmet dessert and pastry provider Qzina Specialty Foods has recently taken the title of the World's Largest Chocolate Sculpture in the Guinness World Records with its massive 18,239-pound structure. It is more than 7,500 pounds greater than the last record holder in 2010. The record-breaking chocotecture (chocolate + architecture) is inspired by Mayan temples because of the impact the ancient civilization had on the development of chocolate. Chewing Gum Sculpture Defines Collaboration

We've seen sculptures made of unconventional products like vegetables and even lobster shells , but a giant figure made of chewing gum AFTER the gum has been chewed stands in a league of its own. Approximately 3,000 students from two vocational art universities in the Netherlands joined together to create this enormous model of a man joyously raising his fists in victory as part of a campaign developed by international communications agency KesselsKramer. Colorful Plastic Bottle Canopy

The word "recycle" can be interpreted in many different ways. For designer Garth Britzman, recycling means creatively repurposing a used material. The resourceful Nebraskan makes great use of plastic bottles by stringing them up together to serve as a canopy. Adding his decorative touch, Britzman's eco-friendly architectural project labeled as (POP)culture incorporates an excellent color palette of blues, greens, and yellows for a refreshing spring and summer look.
