Planet Aurora

While we're used to seeing photographers create "little planets " from a 360 degree panorama, this is the first time we've seen one incorporate the northern lights or the aurora borealis. During last week's incredible light show , Göran Strand of Östersund, Sweden, took a panoramic photo of the incredible northern lights and then wrapped it into a 360-degree composition, calling it "Planet Aurora." It shows a lone photographer standing on a snowy circle, with trees around the edge and ripples of colorful lights glowing in the surrounding sky. "The promised aurora came at last," Strand said. Beautiful Watercolor Painting of Central Park in the Fall

Student and freelance illustrator Elizabeth Baddeley created this beautiful watercolor painting of the Wollman Rink in New York's Central Park shortly after moving to the city and as the leaves were beginning to change in the fall. Gorgeous New Mural at Facebook

If you didn't know the name David Choe, you probably do now. A few days ago, The New York Times reported that the San Jose, California-based graffiti artist was paid in stock for creating artwork at Facebook, meaning that when Facebook stock trades publicly later this year, he stands to make an astounding $200 million. Last year, we were lucky enough to tour one of Facebook's older buildings and we saw, first-hand , Choe's works all over the walls.
